For Jeff Andrews Bass Player Is A True Calling

Jeff Andrews bass player is one of the most famous guitar players on this planet and has played with several renown bands. This amazing guitarist recorded with people such as Mike Stern, Jimi Tunnell and other such bands. From a very young age he became interested in playing the bass guitar and saw a gap in the market.

This in particular is what drove this talented musician to start playing guitar at the young age of 13; and then went on to study in Baltimore, Maryland. But his main experience was gained by listening to records and then working until the songs could be replicated to perfection. During these early years there were many opportunities when well known rock bands invited this youngster to play alongside them.

From studying in Maryland, he went to Berkeley College to further his music studies. But not until this music legend moved on to New York did a professional music career start to develop; brought on by several professional musicians giving hands-on lessons. Any musician needs to practice daily in order to maintain their craft and also improve their skills. Although Jeff plays acoustic guitar and bass, his preferred instrument is without a doubt an electric bass.

Even though Jeff also has the ability to play acoustic guitars or acoustic bass, he much prefers to work his magic on an electric one. This true success of his career, came about when the need arose for someone to assist him while performing in village bars. In this search, Jeff met up with Mike Stern and the full genius of this talented man became evident during this partnership. The two musicians became bosom buddies that lasted years.

Frequently one will encounter this talented guitarist working long hours in his recording studio. The fact that a studio was added to his home is testament to this man's dedication and love for his craft. It was in the confines of his home that a solo album was born which was promoted in a tour to Germany and Austria; old fans were delighted and many new fans were made.

This exceptionally creative man teaches students music at Manhattan's art school. Through his contact with young talented students, he is continuously inspired to continue creating music. But if asked this guitarist will always advise his students to draw inspiration by listening to decent music and working every day to the fullest to achieve success.

When this talented man is not playing music, one will find him partaking in one of his two hobbies; reading or sailing. Admittedly the bass guitar is a little bit more difficult to perfect than one may think and it takes years of constant practice to play effectively. This is especially true due to the fact that there are different types of guitars designed for various genres such as fusion, jazz or heavy metal.

If one were to ask how this notoriety was achieved; it would be clear that this talented musician, became famous due to hard work as well as dedication. Jeff Andrews bass player has had a big influence on the music industry. Particularly for those interested in perfecting the art of becoming a bass guitarist.
