A Comprehensive Brief Of V3 Hopfest

By Donald Barnes

Veterans have a special place in the lives of any US citizen. This is why V3 Hopfest is always organized to raise funds for different support programs to these veterans. This year, the cycling festival will be held on September 21st 2019 at San Ramon in California. This year, the experience has been improved to attract more people and achieve a greater impact.

Registration is online but there is a chance to enter the festival on the material day. Registering early helps you identify what your preferred race will require. You can work-out and acquire necessary gear to complete up to 100 miles. Do not be surprised on the day of the event when you cannot take part because you have not met required conditions. Early registration also makes logistical planning easier.

Charges for entering the race depends on the race you are entering. There will be t-shirts for the event, post-ride meals and commemorative attire, among other elements. The 15 miles race will cost you 50 dollars while those taking on the 30 miles ride are required to pay 70 dollars. If you wish to take the 60 miles ride, the cost goes up to just 90 dollars. 100 miles riders will pay 95 dollars. If you wish to be part of the rider guest meal, you will pay 15 dollars more. The meal is only open to those who register in advance.

Corporate organizations and groups are encouraged to attend. The fest provides an excellent opportunity for them to bond as well as raise funds for a noble course. Participants also enjoy meals served by Baja fest alongside other enticements like branded t-shirts. The experience is captivating for corporate and individual participants.

Organizers have chosen a friendly terrain to accommodate participants taking the race for fun or those who want to exercise their professional skills. It involves moderate terrain and short rolling steeps that will test your skills as a rider. You will sustain the riding spirit and enjoy scenery from the route chosen. Raising funds for veterans comes with great fun.

The support of partners in the beer industry has remained all these years. Beyond riding, they offer incredible opportunities to enjoy wine and beer tasting. Those in attendance will also receive complementary glass and incredible live music performances. Since the post-ride meals cannot be sufficient for all, local restaurants also provide a variety of meals to enjoy. You can buy any food that suits your appetite.

There are conditions that riders are required to fulfill in order to participate. An event waiver form must be signed before the commencement of the race. You will also be required to review rules on road documentation. You must carry and wear your helmet. Those without helmets will not be allowed to ride. You will be provided with a bracelet and a bid number. Rides are prohibited from using ear buds or ear phones. It is a magnificent opportunity to enjoy the sounds of nature.

Different races have different starting times. This ensures that the distance is covered in time for the closing ceremonies. Participation in the fest has raised more than 100,000 dollars for courses targeting veterans. The money goes into education, advancement of their careers and healthcare, among other areas of need. This goes to show how fun and the few dollars spent during such an activity can transform lives.
