Internet Marketing Companies & Celebrities Who Use Social Media Well

By Robbie Sutter

Social media is an often utilized tool, even by those who are in the public eye quite often. Celebrities have been known to use the Internet for market themselves, as I'm sure any Internet marketing company will be able to attest. However, I believe that it's worthwhile to look at the celebs that have taken advantage of social media the most. Here are just a few that have been able to succeed on this particular digital front.

"Star Trek" fans know him as Mr. Sulu, but others will know him by his real name: George Takei. If you're a frequent Facebook user, you have probably come across Takei's posts quite a few times, meaning that you'll know he's quite focused on comedy. Others have taken a shine to his humor, as evidenced by the over 9.7 million likes he has accumulated over the course of time. Needless to say, this is just one of the many celebrities that have taken full advantage of social media.

Ellen DeGeneres has done rather well for herself on social media, too. While her bread and butter continues to be her popular talk show, it's important to note that she has taken advantage of digital media as well. Think back to 2014, when she took that popular selfie featuring a number of actors at the Oscars. It has since become a hit and it goes to show just how savvy Ellen is when it comes to this particular platform.

According to reputable authorities such as fishbat.com, Lady Gaga might be the most prolific celebrity in terms of social media stats. All you have to do is look at the numbers, which any Internet marketing company can help with. For example, did you know that she has over 60 million followers on Twitter? What about the over 61 million likes her Facebook page has amassed? What this means is that the popular musician has made social networking all her own.

Even though there have been other successful celebrities on social media, the ones discussed earlier are among the top tier. They have been able to create engaging content, marketing themselves in the process. What this means is that if you want to find success in your own right, it wouldn't be out of the question to follow their cues. Who's to say that you won't be more inclined to use social media in the future?
