It is based on the advertising industry in that era and you have the opportunity to meet guys who think the world belongs to them and ladies who realize that their place in the office is to be an assistant. One, Peggy Olsen, refuses to be kept in her place and challenges men to rise in her career.
You can't mention 2013 TV shows without referring to Parks and Recreation. Meet Leslie Knope, the Assistant Director of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department. Her boss hates his job and hates government and her co-workers are equally as apathetic. She has to try and do whatever she can to help keep the team active, and her overzealousness is often entertaining.
