By Kelli Townsend

Painting is probably one of the hardest thing to do in this beautiful and magical world. At the same time, it is one of the things that not all people are able to do. It is a form of expression expressed through strokes of brushes using a paint. Drawing can be tough, however, making watercolor prints is harder.

Watercolors can be unforgiving at times especially when the mistake can not be erased. Unlike with drawing, a simple mistake can be erased in just a few seconds. But using this medium, it will take a little while before finding a solution to cover the mistake.

An advantage of this medium is that it is cheap compare to the other mediums used in painting. The price varies depending on the brand or material that will be bought. The quality also depend on the price. Kids and adults use this inexpensive and versatile medium for many projects.

Just like any other stuffs, watercolors can be purchased in many different formats. The most common items that are sold in children section are those little small cakes with assorted colors. But as soon as the user grows up, he would discover that small cakes can not help him in creating his own masterpiece. That will pave him the way of buying the liquid tubes.

An advise given by the experts to the watercolorists who always get annoyed when the paper scrunches up easily is to use the heavier weight papers. The more that the weight is heavier, the lesser the chance of it scrunching up. For the beginners, a one hundred and forty pound of paper is suitable. It should also be in cold press.

In connection with the mistakes that can be done while painting, this happens usually and normally. Word it is, nobody is perfect. Sooner or later, he will make mistakes that may ruin his masterpiece. However, if he is really skillful in that field, he will find ways to correct it. If not correct it, then cover it at least. His artfulness will be measured on this basis.

Watercolors are also considered versatile because it works well with pastels, pen, ink, and other water based materials. Again, the skill of the watercolorist will be measured on how he handle these colors to avoid muddy appearance. Every stroke will mean a lot to his art work.

Another advantage of this medium, is the portability that it can give to its user. Sure there are large bottles and cans that are sold in different stores. But with the ability to read the mind of artists, they produced smaller bottles that are affordable and at the same time, portable. Makes it easy for any user to paint anything that caught their attention.

There are too many talents that were showered to the whole mankind. Each of them were different but all of them have the power to inspire other people. If not inspire, at least show them who they really are. Watercolorists show their true colors by creating watercolor prints. It is their skill, it is how their mind works, and it is how they express their selves freely.
