Formulating Some Crime Thriller Novels

By Sherry Gross

If you have always wanted to be the creator of these pieces of art, then it is time for you to make your dreams come true. You can do that by reading this short yet informative article all the way through. Once you are done, then you will realize that you can never write a book overnight. It will require all of your effort and time.

The first thing that you should provide to your audience is a racing pulse. However, do not come up with crime thriller novels that would scare them to death. Keep in mind that there is already the presence of crime in the story that you are about to make. That element is already enough to make the hearts of people skip a bit.

Second, push them to have a very wide imagination. People read books for a wide range of reasons. However, for thriller creations, it is all about the high set of sensations that you can get out of them. If they do not make you feel any kind of emotion, then they are not worth reading. Always keep this in mind when you are already in the middle of your manuscript.

Third, if some of your readers provide you with a comment that they were not able to sleep because of your novels, then consider that as a good sign. You have turned the pictures in your head so vividly that your audience are able to capture the same thing in their mind. So, keep up the good work and come up with more scenes.

Another sign that people are getting addicted with your book is that they simply cannot get rid of it from their hands. They bring it everywhere they go. This can actually be very beneficial to you. For example, if they read your work in a public place, then other individuals will take a peek of the cover leading them to be curious in return.

Moreover, just keep your audience asking for more. Write scenarios that would make them wonder what is going to happen next. If you are able to create the perspective of both the criminal and the victim, then that would absolutely be wicked. This would lead your readers to know more about life.

However, try to keep things in moderation. Your audience do not need to know the amount of blood which is flowing from the neck of the victim. Simply try your best in preventing things from being too visual. Keep in mind that this is a thriller and a crime book that you are working on and those two elements can be very powerful when combined.

Just have a very interesting piece. Read it for a couple of times before you submit the final draft to your editor. This will help reduce the number of the revisions that you have to conduct after the review.

Lastly, consider the budget of your targeted audience. If you want a wide range of people to recognize your hard work, then settle for an affordable rate. You can go for a higher price if your novel is already a huge hit in bookstores nationwide.
