2013 Has Been A Prolific Year For TV Networks

You've probably noticed that 2013 has given us some awesome TV shows. We've looked over the most well-liked shows to get you the top six that you ought to be watching, if you're not already. To start us off, we have Game of Thrones. George R. R. Martin's mega saga has been brought to the small screen and folks can't get enough of this mix of faith, war and sex - all delivered in a medieval setting.

Getting points with television viewers is Breaking Bad. A show about a chemistry teacher, Water White, and his new life of criminal activity. He turns to meth production to finance his cancer therapy, but just how long can he sustain this charade, and hide it from his friends and family?

You've also probably heard people raving about Dexter. The show is about an LA cop who murders serial killers. This morally ambiguous show gets fantastic ratings each week.

Based on Sara Shepard's books, Pretty Little Liars tells the story of a band of teenagers who are being threatened by someone mysterious, all after one of their own vanishes. This show has audiences hooked.

If you are into a little history from the 60s, you are going to love Mad Men. It is based on the advertising industry in that era and you have the opportunity to meet guys who think the world belongs to them and ladies who realize that their place in the office is to be an assistant. One, Peggy Olsen, refuses to be kept in her place and challenges men to rise in her career.

You can't mention 2013 TV shows without referring to Parks and Recreation. Meet Leslie Knope, the Assistant Director of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department. Her boss hates his job and hates government and her co-workers are equally as apathetic. She has to try and do whatever she can to help keep the team active, and her overzealousness is often entertaining.
